THAT your Petitioner is a British Company registered under the Companies Ordinance 1865 of the Legislature of the Colony of Hong Kong on the 11th day of October 1866 and carries On the business of Proprietors of Docks Wharves Jetties Piers Warehouses and Stores and of Ship Owners Chip Builders Timber Merchants hip Wrights Lngineers Dredgers lug Owners Wharfing- ers Warehousemen fron and Brass Founders and any other business which may seem to your Petitioner capable of being conveniently carried on in connection with the above or calculated directly or indirectly to enhance the value of or render profitable any of your Petitioner's property or rignta. The Capital invested in the business of your Petitioner is $2,500,000 nong Kong currency belonging to shareholders resident in the Colony of Long Kong England America and other parts of the world.

THAT your Petitioner is the largest and oldest established
owner of Lock Yards and Shipbuilding Works in the Far East and
prior to the establishment of His Lajesty's Royal Naval Dock Yard at Long Kong undertook and executed all the repairs and
work to his Majesty's Fleet in the China Seas.

Petitioner has from time to time purchased and acquired land
